Seattle Immigrant and Refugee Neighborhood Happiness Initiative

In 2012, the Happiness Alliance (then called the Happiness Initiative) worked with the Seattle City Department of Neighborhoods and four immigrant and refugee communities to measure subjective well-being, design and implement interventions. Youth in the Vietnamese community, elders in the Filipino community and all-age members of the Oromo and Somali community lead the community-based projects.
