Taxonomy
I have looked at the new taxonomy and then added some categories above and below (where I couldn’t see how they fit). I have also added in some of the initiatives I know of to see where they would fit. Some come up twice but this is expected, they will be linked. This is starting to make more sense to me, even if I am on the wrong track, at least I can see now what I can start work on. I will just put my name next to some in consultation with Vanessa.

Thanks Sarah, this is good.
Please put also ‘Leisure’ and ‘Religion’ and ‘Children’ under the (end of taxonomy categories) Other measures

I have changed this slightly - moved the categories we made that are not part of the taxonomy into the main topic list but have added them in italics here - put "religion and spirituality" under culture, and "children", "development and poverty"and "inequality" under human well-being. I didnt put leisure as it already features in the new taxonomy under culture.
Also took out the indices I had added so it is clearer. Will create a "topic"page.
Just to be clear, this is not intended to meddle with the taxonomy, which will remain intact on a separate page. However it is to be able to categorise the pages we are creating when they do not necessarily fit into a part of the taxonomy.

Hi everyone,
I am new to this project, but came across it due to my interest in an earlier OECD project - Definition and Selection of Competencies: Theoretical and Conceptual Foundations.
It lists a series of competencies that people require in their lives and at the end, it suggests that these competencies are used towards:
Dimensions of a successful life
• Economic positions and resources
• Political rights and power
• Intellectual resources
• Housing and infrastructure
• Personal health and security
• Social networks (social capital)
• Leisure and cultural activities
• Personal satisfaction and value orientation
Dimensions of a well-functioning society
• Economic productivity
• Democratic processes
• Solidarity and social cohesion
• Human rights and peace
• Equity, equality, and the absence of discrimination
• Ecological sustainability
How does this compare to this project?
Richard
This is just me playing with a thought / first idea, but could you combine Ecosystem conditions and Resource Use as two sides of the same sustinability coin - a sort of give and take of the one theme. There could be other examples. Culture as the expressive part of Human Wellbeing? Leaves you with the systems - Environment, Economy, Governance and People; sort of capital like, but broader and more inclusive. So combining aspects of Progress and DeSeCo could give you something like:
Ecological Sustainability
