Well-Being Survey

The Malvatumauri National Council of Chiefs [1]has completed a pilot study conducted between 2010-2012 on well-being which measures happiness and considers variables that reflect Melanesian values. The study is part of the 'Alternative Indicators of Well-Being for Melanesia' project, endorsed by the Melanesian Spearhead Group and set to roll out to Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and Fiji in 2013.
